Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and American Cancer Society recommend that women should have an annual mammogram beginning at age 40. A mammogram can detect breast cancers before they can be felt.

The Breast Health Center, a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, supports breast cancer patients by providing comprehensive breast cancer services including prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment. The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence is accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. This accreditation is given by the Commission of Quality and Safety and the Commission on Breast Imaging through the American College of Radiology.
Men and women will be empowered with the information needed to make a well-educated decision about their diagnosis and treatment. Most insurance plans cover annual mammograms.
