Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, a facility of Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast, and Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast Security Services, prepared this report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus or property owned or controlled by CHS/CMC-NE; and on public property, including thoroughfares, streets, sidewalks, and parking facilities, that are within the campus, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The Safety and Security report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual misconduct, and other matters. Each entity provides updated information on its educational efforts and programs. Campus disciplinary, crime, arrest and referral statistics include those reported to designated campus security officials, and local law enforcement agencies.
