The Levine Children's Hospital Center for Advancing Pediatric Excellence, in Charlotte, North Carolina, was formed in 2007. The Center team currently consists of directors, representation from hospital administration, core faculty from the divisions of general pediatrics, critical care, and neonatology, a senior scientist, and the four core CAPE staff members: program manager, coordinator, QI coach and data coordinator.
Operating as a center of excellence this team shares ideas, resources, and tools to pursue common goals that will improve patient care throughout the hospital.
Levine Children's Hospital invites fellows and junior faculty to apply for the fifth annual Levine Children's Hospital Quality Improvement Coaching Conference in Charlotte, NC on September 13-15. This conference creates an informal environment where individuals present current quality improvement projects and benefit from collaboration with faculty and participants. The deadline for submissions is May 26.
