The general studies track is a pathway to an associates degree for those seeking a general studies education or for those who transfer from the pre-nursing track. Please be aware that only complete applications with transcripts and test scores will be processed. The instructions below will help you submit a complete application. We suggest that you submit your online application, fee and all transcripts at the same time.
Step 1 - Application
Submit your completed application and the non-refundable $50 application fee.
Step 2 - High School Transcripts
A minimum 2.0 weighted GPA is required. Submit an official, unopened high school transcript.
Step 3 - College Transcripts (if applicable)
Submit official, unopened college transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
Step 4 - SAT or ACT Test Scores
A minimum 900 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT is required. Scores which are part of an official transcript are acceptable. Score reports may be mailed directly to Carolinas College of Health Sciences or submitted as part of the admission packet. The College utilizes only the Critical Reading and Math portions when calculating the SAT score.
All of the requirements may be waived for those entering as undecided or non-degree seeking. Transcripts may be required for proof of pre-requisite coursework.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States or hold permanent resident status. Carolinas College of Health Sciences does not authorize student visas. Applicants with foreign transcripts are required to present an official transcript evaluation from one of the agencies listed below that includes all of the courses attempted, credit and grades earned.

Applicants who attended high school or college outside of the United States must submit a TOEFL score as part of the application packet by the application deadline. A score of 220 (computer version) or 83 (iBT: Internet Based) is required. Contact TOEFL (School code: 5130).
