Carolinas College of Health Sciences welcomes alumni contributions on a variety of fronts:
Ambassadors assist with new student orientation, with tours of Carolinas College of Health Sciences for prospective students and visitors and with special events. Contact Student Services at 704-355-5043 to volunteer.
Mentors serve as career and school advisors for students. Career mentors can help students make the transition from student to professional. They may provide shadowing opportunities and career advice. Mentors can also help the new students adjust to the rigors of attending Carolinas College of Health Sciences, often while maintaining family and work responsibilities. Contact Ruthie Mihal, at 704-609-1542 to volunteer.
Carolinas College of Health Sciences admissions personnel visit high schools, two-year colleges and high school student groups (such as Health Occupation Students of America). An active core of alumni greatly expands Carolinas College of Health Sciences' outreach. Alumni living outside the Charlotte area especially contribute to a growing public awareness of Carolinas College of Health Sciences. If you are willing to visit high schools or speak to high school classes on Carolinas College of Health Sciences' behalf, contact the Admissions Coordinator at 704-355-3243 to volunteer.
