Other Adventures
ASAP relies on funding opportunities and grants throughout the year to provide adaptive programming for our community and purchase adaptive equipment. Fundraising and grant opportunities keep fees to a minimum. Cycle to the Sea, the Adaptive Sports Golf Classic and the Celebration of Hope Tennis Tournament are our major fundraising opportunities each year.
ASAP was recently honored by the American Hospital Association (AHA) with the coveted 2010 Hospital Awards for Volunteer Excellence. This honor is reserved for hospital volunteer programs that demonstrate excellence and recognizes the impact their contributions have on their patients and communities.
ASAP staff are licensed and certified recreational therapists. Volunteers are always needed for various programs.
