Breakfast and Brunch Recipes: Breakfast Muesli


2/3 C. quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
1/3 C. toasted or honey crunch wheat germ
3/4 C. skim milk
2 T. raisins
1 T. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 T. chopped walnuts

Optional toppings: sliced fresh fruit, plain fat-free yogurt/additional skim milk


In medium sized bowl, combine all ingredients except optional toppings; mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. To serve, spoon into bowls; top with sliced apples, strawberries or bananas and yogurt or milk.
