A completed application should include a personal statement, curriculum vitae, MSPE, USMLE or complex transcript, and three letters of recommendation. Invitations for personal interviews will be based upon the completed application materials.
The following screening guidelines will be used for initial evaluation of applicants:
Each applicant will be interviewed by members of the Selection Committee. We require one interview; however, applicants are welcome to visit informally if they wish. Please call the residency office at (704) 721-2064 if you would like to make such a visit or if you have any questions.
Ranking in the National Resident Matching Program will be made on the basis of commitment to a career in family medicine, academic and clinical excellence, servant leadership and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as other factors.
