Michael T. Brennan, DDS, MHS practices oral medicine at Carolinas Center for Oral Health.
Dr. Brennan attended dental school at the University of Iowa. After dental school, he completed his general dentistry residency at Loyola University Medical Center and an oral medicine fellowship at the National Institute of Health.
Since beginning his career with Carolinas HealthCare System in January, 2001, Dr. Brennan has held several positions. Most recently, he is the Chairman, Department of Oral Medicine, Carolinas Medical Center Carolinas Center and Director of the Sjögren’s Syndrome and Salivary Disorders Center at Carolinas Medical Center.
Dr. Brennan has published or contributed to more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Brennan has also published 15 books or book chapters, and multiple abstracts in addition to participating in numerous teaching activities and presenting at conferences nationwide and internationally.
Dr. Brennan has received multiple awards and recognitions, most recently the Mission Award from the Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation.
