Brief Description  
This trial is comparing a new single tablet combination medication (MK-1439A) to Atripla in HIV patients who are treatment naïve (never been on medications).
Who may be Eligible  
HIV infected adults who hae never been on medication; Not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant or father a child during the study; Patient with acute hepatitis are excluded; Patients with chronic hepatitis are permitted as long as their therapy does not have activity agaiinst HIV; Must have stable maintenance labs (kidney, liver, hematology and cardiac function).
