Carolinas HealthCare System Anson to Open in July

This summer, Carolinas HealthCare System is bringing a higher level of care to Anson County. On July 14, Carolinas HealthCare System Anson will open its doors to patients, providing a higher level of care for the services that Anson County residents have counted on for more than 100 years.

Working in collaboration with primary care providers, specialists, and the community, Carolinas HealthCare System Anson will bring patients improved access to more of the services that they need, creating a true medical home for the Anson County community.

Carolinas HealthCare System Anson will include:

  • 15 inpatient rooms
  • 24-hour emergency services
  • Access to primary care providers
  • Medical home that provides access to a team of healthcare professionals that deliver personalized care
  • Community room for health education
  • Digital imaging
  • Diabetes management
  • Faith-based health services
  • Increased hospital services, including – radiology, pharmacy, and surgical services
  • Laboratory services
  • A patient navigator

In addition, Carolinas HealthCare System Anson will partner with local public health organizations, such as the Anson County Health Department, and other community partners and schools, to provide access to faith-based community health programs, a mobile unit for convenient care and educational opportunities focused on prevention and wellness.
