Levine Children's Hospital
Superhero Window Washers Visit Levine Children’s Hospital

Six superheroes – Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Captain America, Mr. Incredible and the Hulk – visited Levine Children’s Hospital on February 25. The superheroes were actually window washers from Joffie Contracting Services, and were there to perform their regular task of cleaning the windows.

Instead of donning their regular window washing attire, they wanted to do something extra and bring a little magic to patients, families and staff by dressing up as superheroes. They choose to do this because they know it makes the kids happy.

And it certainly did! They visited several patient floors first to meet patients and families, and then – they repelled over the side of the building and cleaned the windows, much to the patients’ delight! Patients were able to watch out their window as the superheroes slowly made their way down, cleaning windows and brightening the days of sick children.

The patients (and adults, too!) were absolutely thrilled and so excited to meet real life superheroes. We say that we have superhero patients in the hospital every day, but today we also had superheroes washing the windows!
