Sanjay Iyer, MD, co-medical director of Carolinas HealthCare System’s Neurosciences Institute, will participate in an event sponsored by the Michael J Fox Foundation (MJFF) on January 23. MJFF hosts a series of roundtable discussions each year as a way to share information on Parkinson's disease with the community. The events are aimed at people with Parkinson's disease, their friends, family, caregivers, etc. who are interested in learning more about the disease from leading specialists in the field. The January 23 discussion will focus on the status of research toward next-generation treatments for Parkinson's disease.
