Carolinas HealthCare System opened a new facility to bring specialized rehabilitative care to the Concord area. Carolinas Rehabilitation-NorthEast , located at 487 Lake Concord Road, sits near the campus of Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Licensed for 40 private beds and totaling 70,000 square feet, it offers a nationally recognized level of care that is convenient to Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanly and Iredell counties.

Carolinas Rehabilitation-NorthEast provides a complete range of rehabilitation services and offers an array of high-quality features, including:

Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services
The new hospital is part of Carolinas Rehabilitation, one of the most comprehensive not-for-profit providers of rehabilitation services in the nation. Carolinas Rehabilitation’s nationally recognized quality care includes treatment for stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and degenerative diseases; rehabilitation for cancer; and access to research studies and clinical trials. Carolinas Rehabilitation maintains the largest network of board-certified rehabilitative specialists, nurses and therapists in the region, including 23 physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians.
In addition to this new location, Carolinas Rehabilitation operates rehabilitation hospitals in Charlotte and Mount Holly (Gaston County). It will open an additional inpatient location on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville this fall. Carolinas Rehabilitation also provides outpatient rehabilitation services at 13 locations across the Charlotte area.
