Carolinas HealthCare System Opens Urgent Care in Mooresville
Carolinas HealthCare System is bringing quality urgent care to Lake Norman-area residents of all ages. On May 20, the System’s Mooresville urgent care opened for business and began seeing patients.
The newest urgent care is located at The Shoppes at Morrison Plantation (119-D Marketplace Avenue) and is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A certified provider is on staff at all times.
“Families need access to quality, convenient medical care when their physician is not available or if they don't have a personal physician,” said Stephen Jones, vice president of the Physician Services Group, Urgent Care Division at Carolinas HealthCare System. “With our first urgent care in Mooresville, we’re expanding access to this important healthcare service to more patients in our community.”
The urgent care will have four exam rooms and two treatment rooms in its 4,200-square-foot space. It will feature digital X-rays and will be a chartless facility, using electronic medical records to store patient information and provide easy communication with other Carolinas HealthCare System facilities in case follow-up care or treatment is needed.
Carolinas HealthCare System’s urgent care locations are connected to the latest technologies and medical advancements. They provide a range of services for urgent medical issues, including treatment for:
