The Teaching Garden at Carolinas Medical Center-University will be one of the stops during the third annual “Can You Dig It” community garden tour Saturday, May 4. The tour is hosted by the Mecklenburg County Fruit & Vegetable Coalition and features three other community gardens in the north Charlotte area.

Carolinas Medical Center-University broke ground on its garden last year. It serves as an outdoor classroom where the community can learn about growing a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.
