CMC-Lincoln and the Arts Council of Lincoln County to Present a Middle School Art Show

Lincolnton--Carolinas Medical Center (CMC)-Lincoln has collaborated with the Arts Council of Lincoln County to host a Middle School Art Show on Thursday, October 18th. The show will be held at 6:30 p.m. at CMC-Lincoln, located at 433 McAlister Road and will include a reception for participating students, teachers and their families.

The show will consist of two and three dimensional pieces of artwork by students from middle schools in throughout Lincoln County. Participating schools include Lincolnton Middle School, West Lincoln Middle School, North Lincoln Middle School and East Lincoln Middle School.

A reception will be held for participating students, teachers and families on Thursday October 18, 2012 at 6:30 pm at CMC-Lincoln.

Winners to be showcased in the exhibit include:

Best of Show: Maria Cruise, Lincolnton Middle School

Color Drawings:1st Place; Katie Harris Pitton, East Lincoln Middle School, 2nd Place; Hannah Nixon, North Lincoln Middle School ,3rd Place; CJ Miller , West Lincoln Middle School ,Honorable Mention; Erin Dixon , East Lincoln Middle School

Mixed Media:1st Place; John Nordmark Lincolnton Middle School, 2nd Place; Chelsea Blake , North Lincoln Middle School, 3rd Place; Amanda Mangum, North Lincoln Middle School, Honorable; Mention; Hayley Foy , Lincolnton Middle School
