Dr. Lloyd began his role as an educator in residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii where he mentored medical students and residents as a clinical instructor. As Chief resident, he led grand rounds, morning report and managed inpatient medicine teams. Following residency, he was a clinical preceptor for Vanderbilt University and mentored students that rotated with him at his private practice. In 2010, Dr. Lloyd was accepted to Stanford’s faculty development center for clinical teaching and completed their program. Since then, he has been actively delivering the curriculum to members of his department. In his role as Fellow, Dr. Lloyd will facilitate best practices in the delivery of inpatient and clinic teaching.
